Values and Systems
LAIRP’s approach to identifying school values and evaluating key systems—such as discipline, referrals, supervision, and communication—is grounded in right-brain principles that prioritize emotional safety, connection, and clarity. LAIRP begins by guiding school teams through a collaborative process to surface their core values, ensuring they reflect empathy, equity, and community well-being. Once values are clearly defined, LAIRP helps schools examine whether their existing systems align with those commitments. Using reflective protocols, data analysis, and facilitated discussion, teams assess how students experience discipline, how referrals are handled, and how adults supervise and support daily interactions. This process reveals gaps, strengths, and opportunities for growth. By aligning systems with shared values, schools create consistent, key structures that promote accountability, belonging, and positive school culture across all settings.
