Analyzing Data

LAIRP’s approach to analyzing data is rooted in understanding not just what is happening in a school, but why it is happening. Data is gathered from multiple sources—referrals, attendance, supervision, surveys, and stakeholder feedback—to create a full picture of school culture and climate. Once collected, this information is brought to Culture Teams, where it is examined collaboratively through a restorative lens. LAIRP facilitators guide teams in identifying patterns, exploring root causes, and connecting data trends to real student and staff experiences. Rather than using data punitively, LAIRP emphasizes reflection, relationship-building, and informed decision-making. This process empowers schools to adjust practices, strengthen systems, and create environments where students feel supported, safe, and connected.
