At LAIRP, we’ve always believed that restorative practices don’t have to be complicated to be powerful. In fact, the heart of this work—connection, empathy, accountability—is beautifully simple. And yet, making that simplicity visible can be one of the biggest challenges.
When we visit schools, connect with educators, support organizations, or hear from our community partners, we often get asked:
“How do we keep this work alive beyond the training?”
“How do we help our students and staff see restorative practices in everyday life?”
That’s where one of my favorite tools comes in: visual storytelling.
We’re so excited to introduce our new collection of Restorative Practices Posters—a series of clear, bold, and inviting visuals that take key restorative concepts and turn them into messages you can see, feel, and share.
Each poster highlights a core principle—whether it’s listening with empathy, building trust, taking accountability, or creating space for every voice. Instead of presenting these ideas in complex or academic language, we’ve translated them into everyday visuals that speak to students, teachers, and families alike. These posters are warm. They’re honest. And they’re designed to stick—on your walls, in your mind, and in the heart of your school culture.
Visual cues are powerful. They remind us of what we’re building together.
When students walk into a space where the walls reflect restorative values—empathy, community, growth—they’re immediately grounded in a culture of care. And when staff see these reminders every day, they’re more likely to carry that mindset into conversations, decisions, and relationships.
We created this series with accessibility and clarity in mind. We wanted tools that were easy to understand, easy to use, and easy to love—something you could pin up in a hallway, reference during a circle, or start a conversation with at a staff meeting.
This collection is part of LAIRP’s broader mission to simplify and humanize restorative practices through design. Just like our workshops, infographics, and doodles, these posters are here to make the work more visible, more tangible, and more inviting.
We’re making the full poster collection available for free on our website, so you can bring restorative practices to life in your own space.
Whether you’re looking to brighten up a classroom, energize your staff lounge, or create a restorative bulletin board, these posters are ready to print and share.
Let’s continue building spaces that reflect what we believe—not just in our words and actions, but in the images that surround us.
Print them. Post them. Live them.
Together, we’re shaping school cultures where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.
